hi guys kevin with the apex tool group product manager for our layout category i'm going to be talking about our new program of chalk lines and chalk by crescent lufkin to show you all the features i'm going to walk you through our clo 100 which is our 100 foot overmold reel this reel has a number of new features we'll start from the top
all of our reels will have a unique geometry and hook which allows users to grab both rounded and squared surfaces
attached to that hook is a braided string the braided string allows for better chalk retention in addition to minimum overspray when snapping lines what makes this reel unique is the nesting intook feature which allows the end hook to store inside the case when not in use this will help prevent snags when in a tool bag or toolbox
additionally we have an integrated line lock built into the front of the reel you have the unlocked position in your locked position users can lock the reel by rotating the hub to locked and they can unlock it by rotating back to unlocked when users want to fill up the chalk reel they have two options you have your your standard quarter turn top fill however if users are looking for a cleaner faster way to fill their bottles we have an integrated one-way valve this allows users to insert the bottle put chalk into the reel and go on their way with no mess in addition to the clo100 we're going to offer a number of other reels you have your all-aluminum case with all the features we just discussed we'll also offer a 150 foot reel with a boulder string for more prominent lines we also offer a 50-foot compact reel with 60 more strain than the leading competition if this doesn't meet users needs we will offer an additional two skus designed to meet other needs in the market in addition to our chalk reels we'll also have a full program of chalk also available in a variety of colors in the 8-ounce bottle we'll offer red chalk black chalk yellow chalk and blue chalk and our 2.5 pound bottles were all for blue chalk and red chalk and additionally we'll offer the crescent lufkin hard mark blue chalk which is a proprietary blue chalk designed to be three times more visible than industry blues today which will allow users better visibility in all light conditions thanks for joining me today guys as we discuss the new chalk and reel program by crescent lufkin
