Apex Tool Group Announces James G. Booth as SVP, Global OpEx, and Supply Chain

Apex Tool Group Names James G. Booth as SVP, Global OpEx and Supply Chain

Charlotte, NC – October 12, 2022 – Apex Tool Group today announced the appointment of James G. Booth to SVP, Global OpEx and Supply Chain.

Booth is an accomplished supply chain and global operations leader with over 27 years of experience at prominent consumer products and industrial companies like VF Corporation, Heritage Home Group, Newell Rubbermaid, and Ford Motor Company. He most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Information Officer at Corsicana Mattress Company, where he was responsible for distribution, manufacturing operations, supply chain, strategic sourcing, and logistics.

As SVP, Global OpEx and Supply Chain, Booth will serve on the Executive Leadership team and report directly to Jim Roberts, Chief Executive Officer, Apex Tool Group. He will be responsible for improving supply chain and operational efficiencies, flow through, and working capital.

“I am confident that James’s experience and deep industry knowledge will help us navigate global supply chain constraints and further our work toward operational excellence,” said Roberts.

Booth has an MBA from the University of Detroit, a Master of Manufacturing Operations from Kettering University, and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Victoria.
